La playa

Este día, toda la clase ha visitado a la playa del Campello. Fue una experiencia que nunca me voy a olvidar. Primero, hemos tenido que caminar al tren y comprar los billetes. El viaje al Campello fue muy bonita. Fuera de las ventanas del tren, hemos podido ver la playa por todo el viaje. Cuando llegamos a la playa, estuvo sorprendido de que había mucha gente por la playa. No pensaba que muchas personas iban a estar allí porque el día anterior, no había mucha gente por la playa. Sin embargo, parecía que mucha gente salió de la playa muy temprano debido al viento. Aunque el sol estaba brillando mucho, hacía frío en la playa porque había mucho viento. A pesar del tiempo frío, nosotros bronceamos. Para seguir, nosotros fuimos a un restaurante ingles que se llama CJ’s. Desafortunadamente, la camerana no hablaba el español. Esto me sorprendí porque parece que ningunos españoles hablan ingles. Por esa razón, no sé como es posible tener un restaurante rentable si no hablas el idioma. Después de comer, gozábamos el día hasta las seis, cuando teníamos que regresar a Alicante para cenar. De todos modos, era un día relajante, y un buen comienzo de la semana.

Today, the whole class went to visit the beach in el Campello. It was an experience that I’ll never forget. First, we had to walk to the train and buy tickets. The trip to el Campello was very pretty. The whole way to Campello, we could see the beach outside the windows of the train. When we arrived at the beach, I was surprised at how many people were there. I didn’t think that many people would be there because on Saturday the beach was empty. Nevertheless, it seemed that a lot of people left the beach very early because of the wind. Even though the sun was shining a lot, it felt cold on the beach because there was so much wind. Despite the cold, we still tried to tan in the sun. Continuing the day, we went to an English restaurant that was called CJ’s. Unfortunately, the waitress didn’t speak Spanish. This surprised me because it seems like not many Spanish people speak English. For this reason, I don’t understand how it’s possible to have a profitable restaurant here if you can’t speak Spanish. After eating, we enjoyed the beach until around six, when we had to return to Alicante for dinner. All in all, it was a relaxing day and a good start to the week.
